Tuesday and Wednesday -
Thursday - Friday - Saturday
Registration for Midwestern Sectionals will
open on Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Southern Ice Arena from 5:00pm until
9:00pm. Registration will re-open at 6:30am on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 and
close at 8:00pm. Thursday, November 14, 2002, Registration hours will be 6:30am
until 8:00pm.
For those competitors arriving on Tuesday, we encourage you to come in and
register, get acquainted with the facility and pick up maps to the
Sportsplex, hotels, etc.
For those competitors that have practices Wednesday at the Sportsplex
(Senior Men and Senior Ladies) and are unable to get to Southern Ice Arena
Tuesday evening or before the practices Wednesday, you will not be required to
register prior to your practices. The ice monitor will have a list of
competitors and the announcer will have your music.
The same holds true for competitors practicing at 7:00am on Rinks I & II at
Southern Ice Arena. (Novice Dance CD Group A, and Junior Men Free Group A) If
you can't get to Registration on Tuesday evening, and don't have time to
register between 6:30am and 7:00am on Wednesday, skate your practice first and
register afterwards.
When you enter Southern Ice Arena by the front doors, follow the large
hallway till it ends. This is a big open area with several tables and
booths. The Southern Ice Arena main desk is on the right. If you turn left
you will find the Director of Figure Skating, Laura Sanders, office. Right
next to her office is the Registration/Practice Ice desk.
