Nashville Figure Skating Club Facts
The Nashville Figure Skating Club (NFSC) attained
membership in the USFSA in 1981.
Type of incorporation: 501(C) 3 non-profit
2002 membership: 140 members
NFSC has 8 levels of membership
The membership is drawn from a 50 mile radius of Nashville. In
addition, there are members of the club who live as far away as
Knoxville, TN.
The NFSC is affiliated with two rinks in the Nashville metropolitan
area, each with two ice surfaces:
1) Southern Ice Arena (principal location) – Franklin, TN
2) Centennial Sportsplex – Nashville, TN
The NFSC hosts and annual non-qualifying competition which is held in
May. It is the principal fundraiser of the club and has been held for
12 years successfully.
The Nashville Figure Skating Club has been selected by the USFSA to
host the following qualifying competitions.
1997 – United States National Figure Skating Championships held at
the Gaylord Entertainment Arena in Nashville, TN.
2003 – Midwestern Sectionals to be held at Southern Ice Arena in
Franklin, TN – November 14-17, 2002.
2004 – Eastern Great Lakes Regional to be held at Southern Ice Arena
in Franklin, TN – October, 2003.

to members.
